Pastas Pronto Italian Food in Modesto

Tasted some of the pastas at the Ceres street fair and they were pretty good considering they had to keep them warm over stereo cans. As for inside decor it is very warm and romantic like stepping into Italy. The seating outside is so quaint. I can't wait for another chance to go.

Four of us went out for dinner here last night. The service was prompt. Their bread is great and addictive. Two had calzones which were generous, tasty and well cooked. One had chicken parmesan which was delicious along with a generous portion of spaghetti. Instead of my usual favorite for Italian Restaurants, eggplant parmesan, I had spinach and cheese ravioli with pesto sauce. It was very good, but only 4 raviolis, see picture. Good thing I could get filled up on the bread.

Italian food and service at this spot is great. i had a cousin come into town and asked me to take him back here. this place has a nice atmosphere.

Good service, nice staff. Food were surprisingly good. Tried the Gnocchi with parma ham, minestrone, calm chowder. Highly recommend in the area of Modesto.

Great restaurant, Italian with awesome options. I love artichoke and had a garlic artichoke, with eggplant and other veggies, tomato sauce...we all loved the food and service....I'll be ready for the Modesto Half in the morning!!!

We love Pasta Pronto. We eat here at least a couple times a month. The food is so delicious and the portions are pretty big and a great value. There is a new location on Coffee Rd and it's just as good. I recommend to call and make a reservation as this location is pretty small and fills ups quickly.

Great food and services. That is a place you should go

The italian food is mediocre. It's hit and miss is more like it. I don't recommend the crab cakes unless you prefer a lemony wet version or you have never tried crab cakes elsewhere. The raviolis are not that spectacular, so is the lasagna. Hint: order something else.The decor is somewhat outdated. Parking= LOTS of space. Plus points.A low key date night kind of restaurant.Server was polite. Always a plus.Would I come back again? Yes, because my mom-in-law likes this place but otherwise...

A preferred spot for quality italian food. Visited near twelve, it was not full. I look forward to a return trip. Bring your appetite because portions are large. Food and atmosphere reminds me of Kansas City.

Been here twice now and i will be coming back again. They have great customer service, the bread they serve when your going threw the menu is very soft and warm. The dishes I have tried have both been very delicious. The desserts are also good. I had a creme brulee and it was a good size portion. Nice place to bring your family or a date. The average tab for one person is around 20-30 bucks not including wine.

I love the home made bread, hot, fresh, and on the olive-balsamic-herbs matches really good. They take time for your order, but it worths. The lasagna this time was great! They have the cream brûléeee!. In my opinion the service is nice. It is a cozy place, and you don’t suspect a nice place will be there, but it is.

I love this place! The most authentic hole in the wall Italian restaurant in Modesto. There was a lady behind me while I was paying that said " I drive all the way from Sacramento to eat here!" Yes it is that good!

One of my preferred locations for delicious Italian food. Got there near six, it wasn't packed at all. There was quick, helpful, and friendly service. The place has a nice feel to it. Menu is like a cafe in Boston I liked.

Nice little place. The food was good, not great. The portions were a little small, but overall it was good. The staff was nice.

Olive garden can't hold a candle to this place. Of all the Pasta Pronto locations this one stands above and beyond them all. Anytime we're in Modesto we stop here....and we live in the Bay area!!!!!....The neighborhood doesn't reflect the level of awesomeness that comes out of the kitchen so don't let it fool you 😉

Shrimp puttanesca without a doubt needs to be tried. Great flavor And smothered in everything worth the name Italian tradition. Two ladies serving were awesome and did a super job on a busy night.
